I think we also has dr oscar but i am not sure. She got 3. I will ask her which 3 though. I think 1 was papiloma or something like that.

Quick question for you guys. After the inmigrant visa was approved at the interview, how long before picking up the passport? 2 days, the same afternoon?

Thanks a bunch!

If all goes good, then yes 2 days, you can pickup at the DHL office

In my case., we had to go back the following day because the digital fingerprints did not go through correctly and had to be re done. This caused a delay and i had to change the travel ticket for my wife since she did not have her passport on time. I made all the planes a bit too tight :'(

My turn ask to ask....

My wife went to a doctor last month in Arequipa and got her vacination record. The doctor created a new card that shows all the vacinations she received as a youth. He also calcuated the dates she received them.

Are there vacinations not on the list that are required? And from your experiences, which is the best doctor to see?

How many vaccines did she need? My fiancee paid 560 soles for 3 vaccines, including the dreaded HPV one, and this was with Dr Oscar; I was expecting way worse, given the experience of a few other people with him. Some had paid as much as 1200 soles for vaccines.

wOW, MY WIFE HAD TO PAY 690 SOLES + $95

it was with Sandro, and 3 vaccines including the hpv one

You can pick which doctor you go to, Prices are a little different and availability dates are different. Isa went to Dr. Nora Lari and your fiance will want to schedule as soon as possible. I think Isa had all of the vacinations because she hadn't had any since she was a baby.

do you remember the total cost for all vaccinations? My wife cannot find any of her vaccination records, thus she will need all shots. How many days did it take to get all the shots applied?

Hi! It all seems to depend on who you go to... There were several extensive discussions on doctors from March - May. You may want to look in the portal section and find them that way (specific to Lima).

And the guys seem to pay less than the girls due to one specific shot...

Hope this helps!

Hi Jacky again!

Here's what you should be working on in Peru... This is what David brought with him to the interview...

KEY: * = they did not ask for or did not want at the interview itself

OF-156K

datos biográficos (we sent it in per the directions and they wanted it again at the interview; thank god we had another copy)

interview appt letter

pasaporte

certificado de nacimiento, legalizado por la RENIEC

certificado de policía

certificado de penales

certificado de judicales

libreta militar *

2 fotos nuevas - glued onto the ds-156

cualquiera evidencia that he had *

examen médico

he needed to sign the papers that I brought; couldn't sign some of them until he was in the presence of the consulate officer

pay for the tariff - receipt needed!

Don't bother sending in the datos biográficos early, like the packet 3 says when you get it. We did that and then they wanted it again at the interview.

Here's what your fiance should be working on in the States; this is what I brought with me to the interview...

ds-156 - 2 copies for them to keep

ds-157

ds-156k English version that I got online * they only wanted the Spanish one that was sent to David

ds-230 parts 1 & 2 *

I-134 (there's a 3rd page in the packet 3 that I also signed and had notarized; have no idea if I needed to or not, but I did) - notarized

- tax transcripts * - originals

- stocks and bonds papers - copies

- retirement info (2) - copies

- letter from bank - original

- pay stubs - copies

- 2007 taxes - copy; including W-2s

- 2005-2006 taxes - copies, including W-2s

- employer letter - original

copy of I-129F originally sent *

original evidence = phone evidence, receipts from trips (air, hotel, bus, tourism, food, phone cards) *

more phone records * - I had copies for them to keep and originals with me

more emails * - I had copies for them to keep and originals with me

more pics * - I had originals for them to keep

new letters of intent * - originals

NOA1, NOA2 * - I had copies for them to keep and originals

passport *

electronic ticket *

Don't forget to make copies of EVERYTHING that you could hand over if you don't already have copies of those articles!

I hope this helps whoever is coming up next for the interview! Obviously at the interview they can ask for things that they didn't ask me for. I'm just writing what my experience was... The DS-230 was absolutely not needed, however.

Also, please keep in mind that some of these things are specific to the fact that David is a guy and he needed to do a couple of extra papers due to that fact. Also, in some cases it was easier for me to fill in the papers and have David sign them when I got to Peru.

Here's a link too, to an old link that I made for help...
