Hello everyone! I have a question about poverty guidelines.

The annual income of my fiancée is only $500 more than 125% of poverty guidelines for the total number of people (two of us and the kids).

So, friends, kindly comment if this positive difference $500 is still risky for us.

As long as you meet the required income amount, you should be fine. Should being the operative word.

If your verifiable income meets the criteria, it meets the criteria.

You aren't punished for being 'close' over.

This isn't horseshoes or hand grenades. Your income hits the target.

Assets then don't hurt, but aren't necessary.
