Sorry, should've asked this earlier.

Again, my fiancee is filling out the G325A. The example forms on this site use All Caps for filling things in. Is this required and/or preferred? There are a few things where the answer won't fit when using all caps, but will easily do using normal capitalization.

If we do need to use all caps should the answers that don't fit be continued onto another peice of paper?

I used all caps myself but then I write quite small - either way i think most govt agencies prefer 'printing' rather than 'normal joined up writing'..I just used caps as it looks better printed IMO

Applied for K1

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

hi

i used all capitals..my childrens addresses wouldnt fit in so we placed them on a seperate sheet but we also added what that extra sheet was on our cover sheet when we sent it in...

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Funny thing is i was just looking to fill out a different filliable form and came across the same thing...2 places my answers would not fit so I was going to do most of it in caps but then those 2 answers in lower case in order to have the space to write the answer.....I really didnt want to hand write the answers since my handwritting is terrible...I think as long as it is readable, for which typing is..it will be OK. I would hate to think they would send it back because some it was in caps and some of is not. :huh:

02/03/2006 - NOA2 by e-mail

05/03/2006 - Leave for Jamaica

05/09/2006 - Interview "VISA APPROVED"

05/15/2006 - Return from Jamaica

05/22/2006 - Called off the wedding and Adrian left

Mine was a mixed bag :P I only used all caps for the top 'family name' 'first name' 'middle name' and 'all other names used' then any other time 'family name' was asked. Did not use all caps anywhere else on the form. Received no RFE's.

I also used the fillable forms.

I used uppercase for most, and lowercase only if they didnt fit. I dont think it will matter. Handwritten is even accepted.

Oct 12, 2005 - Paid I-864 Bill by Postal Money Order-$70 for whole family

Dec 17, 2005- checklist for I-864 received, reply sent back & entered into system on Dec 22.

Oct 20, 2005 - Alien spouse received DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) documents

Oct 24,2005 - DS-3032 sent to NVC (fr Phils)

Nov 17, 2005 - IV Fee Bill paid by Money Order & sent

Jan 3, 2006 - Mailed DS-230 to NVC

Jan 4, 2006 - DS-230 entered into system

Jan 12, 2006 - CASE COMPLETED, and still waiting!!!
