I have children going with me. Do I need to pay them Each? or just me only? We have I case number only. I'm the only applicants on the petition but since I have children the embassy include my children. I'm waiting for more than 30 days +++ already.

Did you guys paid your children each on verification fee?

I would call Delbros and ask them or the embassy (if you can get through). I would think they would charge for each person because it is more revenue. Plus, I don't see or hear of anyone getting a discount when it comes to paying fees. You never know. Things have changed recently with doc verification, so if someone has info on their specific case before last year, things may have changed with the rules. Just an angle to think about.

It depends upon the age of the children. You should only have to pay for your doc verification as the children are dependents on your petition.

You should only pay for the fee if asked by the Consul..

From my experience I have paid at least 3 weeks before my wife's interview and look at where we at now..

Still no Visa.. :(

It really doesn't matter no more..

As per the Consul told me it is not adviseable to pay if not asked..

I've read that USEM discourages payments of any fee for document verification prior to the interview appointment. But for those who has issues with their BC, CENOMAR, Cert. of Marriage may need to have their NSO documents verified prior to the interview to avoid delays. How true?

Then the USEM needs to update their website:

In order to avoid unnecessary delay in the visa issuance process, the U.S. Embassy in Manila strongly encourages applicants in the categories mentioned above to pay the document verification fee prior to their immigrant visa interview.

They seem to do doc verification on those who do not have issues too.

Not, its not from the USEM web.

I just thought that only those who have issues with their NSO documents needs to have their docs verified. But most of the people paid Document Verification even if they dont have to because they dont want to risk delay of visa issuance with just a matter of Php 650.
