Hello,

I am finishing up the AOS papers to file this week. I am wondering if my U.S. Spouse needs to submit 2x2 Passport Pics along with the AOS I- 485 form and the other forms being sent with it?

Also, do I need to sumit the I-693 Medical Exam form if I had the medical exam done before I came to the U.S. for the I-129F Fiance Visa? I already have the I-693 Vaccination Supplement form completed by an INS Doctor in the U.S..

Thank you,

Tess

Hello Tess,

You don't need to submit 2x2 pics from your US spouse, only you as the applicant.

For your second question, you said you already have the I-693A completed by a civil surgeon here in the US? If yes, then you would have to submit that together with your AOS application. The medical we had from St. Lukes needs to be transcribed to a I-693A here in the US.

Good luck with filing!

AOS is all about the NON-Immigrant adjusting status. All the US citizen needs to provide is I-864 and financial evidence that backup the numbers on the I-864.

The AOS guide here on VJ is exactly what we used.

You do not need a full medical don in the US only I-693A supplement.

8. Fiancé(e)s.

If you are a K-1 fiancé(e) or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report. You may include the vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application.
