I'm Asian, and don't have any say to the opinion. But, I'll just say what I believe the value is to be.

Without the slave trade, AA wouldn't have gained access to the America. And, without them, civil rights would've been non-existent. It will be more like Hitler's land here in America.

Yes, thank you for letting the blacks have access to the America. Without the acess, America would've been less diverse. Slavery is wrong, but, after years it has been in progress, it have illuminated people on human rights, and civil rights.

So... you're saying Americans who are not the descendants of African slaves should be thankful for slavery. How about Americans who are?

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

I read Buchanan's article and he did not say that Blacks should thank America for being brought here as slaves. Come on...get real.

He basically said they should be thankful in 2008 that they are Americans in America...in spite how they got here. There is a big difference in what you are insinuating and what was actually said.

There are millions across the African continent that would trade places with African-Americans in a heartbeat today. I doubt if you would find many African-Americans that would trade places with their brothers in Africa. That's a fact Jack!

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
