well we got the emails on the 02/02/06 we found out 24 minutes after they sent the emails saying the aos was approved with no interview. but no o chek the site and i see that on 02/03/06 the case was touched but when i hit the link with the case number i get this message

The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

now i wonder what does it mean

Email from them is a good sign...

Maybe their system was down. And it will show up soon.

I guess you can call and ask the help line to confirm what you received in the email.

Even though they might be looking on the same thing as we are...

However maybe they can put you through a real immigration officer if there is something wierd...

As I said... email is a good sign I think you guys will be good to go...

Mar-07-2005 ~ Interview Notice for October 6th 2005 in Garden City, NY

Oct-06-2005 ~ Interview: Background checks not completed

Jan-09-2006 ~ What a coincident ;) E-filled For EAD and AP renewal

Jan-25-2006 ~ right index finger fingerprinted and photo taken

Sept-15-2006 ~ AP renewal approved 247 days

Sept-21-2006 ~ EAD renewal approved 253 days

Sept-30-2006 ~ 2nd Biometrics appointment

June-18-2007 ~ E-filed yet another Work Permit and AP renewal :(

After 2 years, 6 moths and one day I have received this email:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

This means they're updating your status online. Just check it again after two or three days upon receipt of the email. Don't worry, this means you're on to the next level. Congratulations and wait for further notice from USCIS. This is definitely good news! God Bless! :D

Jun. 18, 2005 - Got Married

Jul. 28, 2005 - AOS and EAD submitted

Aug. 3, 2005 - INS receipt

Aug. 7, 2005 - Received NOA 1

Nov. 16,2005 - AOS Biometrics

Jan. 23, 2006 - AOS Interview (Approved with stamped passport)

Jan. 25, 2006 - E-mail confirmation from USCIS (application approved)

Jan. 27, 2006 - Received the Welcome to America Notice

Feb. 1, 2006 - E-mail Notice from USCIS to send Green Card (Yipeeee)

Feb. 3, 2006 - Received my Green Card (Two Year GC....Woohoo)

Jan. 23,2008 - File for Removal of Conditional Status

Jan. 30,2008 - Received NOA 1

Feb. 23, 2008 - Biometrics

Dec. 6, 2008 - Received RFE paper

Dec. 18, 2008 - Submitted documents thru Postal Mail.

Jan. 6, 2009 - Card Production Ordered (Yipee....light at the end of the tunnel!!!!)

Jan. 12, 2009 - 10 Year Greencard Received (Thank God!)

We currently have a somewhat similar situation....

Receive approved email on Feb 1.

Case "Touched" on Feb 2.

Case removed from system on Feb 3.

Nothing on system since then....

03-26-08 10-Year GC APPROVED!!!! HOORAY!!!

04-03-08 10-Year GC ARRIVES! GC Journey Over For Another 10-Years~On To Citizenship
