Whilst I agree that Boo Yah's opinions might not be the most palatable, I find the mockery, anger, nit-picking, and attempts at group-think assimilation even more offensive. Contrary to the beliefs that I've seen here, BY *IS* allowed to have his own opinion, is allowed to have that opinion without providing a thesis on WHY he has that opinion, and *should* be free from attempts to alter his beliefs and from being chastised or belittled.

Of course, humans like to have everyone bleating the same little tune like good little sheep, don't they?

Absolutely. And we are *still* waiting for a coherent clarification as to what his opinion really is beyond not having an interest in reality. No thesis needed... just the ability to defend his point of view with fact and, ironically, reality.

I hate to break up this little party, but... did anyone ever stop to think for a moment that perhaps -- and maybe I'm way off base here -- Boo-Yah is merely continuing with his argument, simply because he knows it annoys the living hell out of a number of you on here? Look at how so many have responded (and keep responding) to him. If I didn't know better, I'd say he's playing you guys like a fiddle.

That wouldn't be a bad strategy, actually. If you can't force an opponent to surrender, the next best thing is to drive him insane.

I doubt that to be honest - given how consistent his rationale has been in this, and other threads. So he's not pushing this argument for the sake of humor or novelty - in fact its been a pretty consistent one that he's used before in other threads, threads which he has posted in as consistently as this one - and ideas that he's defended in the past. Specifically, he seems to scorn on the idea of any link between demographics, inner city poverty and inner city crime - to which his only response is to post videos of people like Reverend Wright and who he has or hasn't seen on holiday.

I might as well do an about face of my own and say I wasn't being serious about any of the stuff I've written in this thread. Would you believe me?

Sensible readers have been picking up on it and perhaps that just disqualifies your already ridiculous claims even more, just decades of pages after bringing them forth.

I posted an diagram and all I stated was "like this:" Yet somehow this equated to not read the facts and many other rhetorical responses.

Nonetheless, Lets ask the question again. Do the majority of African Americans live in the South, West or North?? All of the data I have seen says South.

If you say so. But here you are complaining about having your opinion rubbished and evidence dismissed - when you have been presented with a counter-argument to both of the pieces you presented.

I should complain that my counter argument has been dismissed out of hand - or at least I would if it didn't prove that there was simply no basis to your original claims. At least none that you can substantiate by looking critically at your own evidence.

Well... as I said I didn't disagree with that statement, but it wasn't the only thing you were claiming there. What I did disagree with was the stuff about poverty and demographics - to which you replied (again) "...who cares".
