Prejudice exists in all cultures, even among themselves. I'm just trying to figure out what shaped your views. Wouldn't you say you are more Greek than Australian in terms of your cultural influences? Aren't your parents first generation immigrants? Were you born in Australia? Do you think your family assimilated into Australian society pretty well? Not trying to start a fight....I'm just trying to understand where you are coming from.

You are way too fukcin' nice ;)

Considering the "blue states" include California, New york, Michigan, Illinois and New Jersey I really have to wonder where you get your information

So is the data must be wrong or falsified right?

No - I'm someone who has a subscription to TV ratings at work. I think even most local access television get more viewers than Glenn Beck

What about the fox news network? Or do their ratings not count?

they average about 3-4 million a night.

decent for a cable channel - lately they have been beaten by CNN though

That, in a town full of black people and italian people. Black people are historically underprivileged. What about those goombahs? They just must be fukcin' stupid.

You tell me. I did not bring it up..

 Hey, you make observations and draw sweeping conclusions. Why can't I?

How does your sweeping conclusion represent me? My observation was about poor black Americans. I never said it applied to everyone. Or to every poor black American community in America, did I now. Ahh I forget it is okay for you guys to imply something from what I have said but yet dismiss it when the same assumption are made back about your statements.

So 3-4 million don't share your views then but apparently are "morons" because you say so.

You are way too fukcin' nice

I know what u mean Punjab.. ;)

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Why Help? Because Agnes, PH, #6, Mister Fancypants, maviwaro, Vj Troll and yourself don't agree with me. That makes 7 people. Lets round it up to 20.

Glenn beck has approx 500,000 viewers. O'reilly has 1.2 million.

Not agreeing is one thing, but I'm having a hard time finding a coherent chain of argument in your posts. The pattern seems to go something like this:

1) You make a crude blanket statement about "the black community" (such as you have defined it).

2) When challenged on the aforementioned statement you:

  • Flit off onto 101 other (irrelevant) things - including (but not limited to): The Ottoman Empire, Quantas, and the state of your personal finances.
  • Counter the challenger by attacking an argument that they explicitly did not make and do not support.
3) Rinse. Repeat.

#6 I am not going to sit here and explain myself to someone I don't even know.

It doesn't.

Why run and cry when you have 30+ pages in this very thread of self-delusional material for all to see?

Why because I have not sat here and written a thesis to thoroughly explain my views. Isn't going to happen. Certainly not from me..

Then in the last couple of hours since you wrote this I think a healthy prediction (not having read from then on) would be that you continue opening your blastopore with more tangents? Hope to be proven wrong!

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

So 3-4 million don't share your views then but apparently are "morons" because you say so.

I see your reading skills are as fine-tuned as your logic.

Reading what exactly. You don't like Fox News yet clearly "3 to 4 million" people do. So either they are the fools or you are the fool.

You are way too fukcin' nice

How clever

Clever would be if found out the details of your family in India and then called my friend, who's dad is a minister there. I think you know how the system works there.

Thank you for proving my point. I am among the 3-4 million that watch Fox news so I'm not sure what your point is.

Yes, that would be clever. I guess that means I have nothing to fear from you.

The human race has proven to be resilient and ingenious when it comes to adapting under the grievous of conditions or treacherous situations. There is an undercurrent of logic within the chaos of Mr. Buchanan's distorted arguments and head-shaking analogies. The truth is that African-Americans in this country are embarking on a new chapter in history for themselves. African-Americans are now living in the first post oppression, post slavery, post segregation, and post everything that held them back era. Now the primary element holding them back is themselves. There is no intent to imply that African-American’s struggles do not come with an extra load of baggage caused by the past indiscretions of American history. Is there still a long, long, long way to go in the struggle for African Americans in forging a better tomorrow for themselves, the communities they live, and for the America society as a whole? You bet! That struggle is evident and amplified by the challenges African-Americans face in today’s society. The future is where America’s hopes should rest with the upcoming generations who will move far beyond the pain, loss, struggle, and sacrifice the clouds the growth and unity of people from all walks of life.

Cheers!!!

Sheriff Uling

p.s. – Some of the responses in this thread are very disturbing. If I did not have a greater calling and duty to help those who come behind me in this visa journey, I would not be apart of this community. :wow:

Well said. I could agree with what you write here since it looks at reality from the now and into the future we all know is coming.

This is basically what I have been trying to say all along.

Not the way you've been writing here, unfortunately.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Here is a summary. 7 people here do not agree with me. I rounded it up to 20. Hardly a majority..

The bit about holding their future in their own hands is transalating to BY as 'they only have themselves to blame for their current situation'.

Which means that again, he is ignoring the circumstances that lead to the present. In other words, history.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
