So, after all these pages of racism, your now saying your views run parallel with those of Bill Cosby? Extraordinary, really. Self delusion is a very, very strange thing indeed.

and apparently Glenn Beck :help:

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Why Help? Because Agnes, PH, #6, Mister Fancypants, maviwaro, Vj Troll and yourself don't agree with me. That makes 7 people. Lets round it up to 20.

Glenn beck has approx 500,000 viewers. O'reilly has 1.2 million.

I already highlighted one of your racist posts, one of the worst offenders in fact. However, your posts are peppered with racial slurs.

Leaving that to one side, is your current thesis that in fact African American's are bad parents? Of course as there are more African American's living in poverty (proportionally) than Other Americans that must mean that somehow African Americans make bad parents. Is this another of their genetic weaknesses?

Because Glenn Beck is a gibbering moron - he makes Sean Hannity look like William F. Buckley. yet you seem to be getting your clues on the plight of African Americans from him and not real live people.

and that "liberal" show 60 Minutes gets 8-9 million viewers, so?

500k is a bit of a joke, btw

You don't have to "say it" to imply it.

Again. The entire rationale you're promoting here is reliant on a fictitious characterisation of "the black community" that you have cobbled together from Jeremiah Wright, the audience reaction on a youtube video, whether or not you saw Black Americans on holiday (and it "proving something about their culture" either way), and the idea that they are (as a national ethnic identity) all out for handouts, and content to sit at home, pumping out kids they can't pay for, snorting cheese heroin and going out on drive-bys.

This would be a racist stereotype.

I found this on prejudice among Greek Americans:

The association between religiosity and prejudice was evaluated, using a sample of 152 Greek Americans from Cincinnati, Ohio. Several indicators of religiosity, such as church membership, church attendance, parochial education, and orthodoxy were used. The findings showed little support for the recurrent inverse associations between church membership or orthodoxy and tolerance, except for the negative association between orthodoxy and stereotype Negro tolerance. Furthermore, the effects of religiosity (orthodoxy) varied with authoritarianism, being positive among authoritarians and negative among non-authoritarians. Parochial education was associated only with positive images about blacks and showed an interaction with general education when the latter was controlled. The ritual indicators and church attendance were positively associated with tolerance; and the renowned curvilinear trend was observed only for Negro social distance, although it was not statistically significant. Introducing an ethnicity factor to the church attendance and orthodoxy analyses produced results somewhat more consistent with American studies and also gave some support to the Gorsuch and Aleshire (1974) social conformity interpretation.

I found the following: this help..

Is that like the following fact that 75% of black American children are born in single parent households?

Black Americans are 5 times more likely to be incarcerated than white Americans. Ratio being highest in the blue states, where the least live.

45,000,000+ Americans live in 'poverty'. Out of those roughly 8,750,000 are Black Americans living in poverty. Which basically means 80% of Americans living in poverty are not Black.

Considering the "blue states" include California, New york, Michigan, Illinois and New Jersey I really have to wonder where you get your information

No - I'm someone who has a subscription to TV ratings at work. I think even most local access television get more viewers than Glenn Beck

I wonder what you have to say about Mexicans views on the black American community. Or Filipinos for that matter.

You tell me. I did not bring it up..

 Hey, you make observations and draw sweeping conclusions. Why can't I?

What about the fox news network? Or do their ratings not count?

Not agreeing is one thing, but I'm having a hard time finding a coherent chain of argument in your posts. The pattern seems to go something like this:

1) You make a crude blanket statement about "the black community" (such as you have defined it).

2) When challenged on the aforementioned statement you:

  • Flit off onto 101 other (irrelevant) things - including (but not limited to): The Ottoman Empire, Quantas, and the state of your personal finances.
  • Counter the challenger by attacking an argument that they explicitly did not make and do not support.
3) Rinse. Repeat. Edited by Number 6

Prejudice exists in all cultures, even among themselves. I'm just trying to figure out what shaped your views. Wouldn't you say you are more Greek than Australian in terms of your cultural influences? Aren't your parents first generation immigrants? Were you born in Australia? Do you think your family assimilated into Australian society pretty well? Not trying to start a fight....I'm just trying to understand where you are coming from.
