Now the primary element holding them back is themselves. There is no intent to imply that African-American’s struggles do not come with an extra load of baggage caused by the past indiscretions of American history. Is there still a long, long, long way to go in the struggle for African Americans in forging a better tomorrow for themselves, the communities they live, and for the America society as a whole? You bet! That struggle is evident and amplified by the challenges African-Americans face in today’s society. The future is where America’s hopes should rest with the upcoming generations who will move far beyond the pain, loss, struggle, and sacrifice the clouds the growth and unity of people from all walks of life.

This is basically what I have been trying to say all along.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I am not surprised at all. But certain people jumping on every statement and using it to make a cheap witty shot gets annoying.

Given what I said earlier, I'm not sure what you expect...

A lot of those places are run down.

Oh come on... - your choice of words before was... shall we say... rather more colorful. I don't know why you're being shy about it now just because you're being challenged on your previous statements. I thought you didn't go in for Political Correctness....?

What was it you said about people who live in Los Angeles - Idiots and arseholes was it?

Even if that were true. It took Sheriff Uling a paragraph to explain it.

It's taken you 30-odd pages!

Why run and cry when you have 30+ pages in this very thread of self-delusional material for all to see?

It sure makes me wonder how someone could make it through college with such ideas and never be scrutinized for them or at least able to re-examine such beliefs. What kind of books does someone read or who does someone listen to (in Australia) that would shape such views? I have no idea how old BY is...I'm guessing no older than about 24, but it baffles me that he's made it this far in life and has been here in America for as long as he is without being faced with such views being challenged, either internally or from confrontation with someone else.

We had another member on here that you may remember - Wogboy. He was very similar to BY in terms of his views and rationale except many of his posts stressed how "stupid and uneducated" Americans are.

I wonder if this is typical of the Australian Male? ;)

I seem to remember BY saying last year that he was around 30.

There had to have been some kind of indoctrination...I'm just curious how. I can't imagine he came to such views by simply reading books.

Ahh The mistake some of you make is by thinking that my view or reasoning has wholes in it because I usually do not take the time to explain it thoroughly. I was just watching Glenn Beck on CNN and it seems that I am not the only one with these 'isolated views'. Sure I have had confrontations. On the other hand I don't go around telling people how to live their life.

PS I am over 30..

Indoctrination of what? That I don't have no sympathy for poor inner city black Americans born after the 80's.. That I support Bill Cosby's fight to help the community and his views.

So you watch a lot of editorial television, but don't engage into many political discussions in real life situations?

Really? Isn't that what you've been doing all along here...

So, after all these pages of racism, your now saying your views run parallel with those of Bill Cosby? Extraordinary, really. Self delusion is a very, very strange thing indeed.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
