And we can put some Silverchair (the older tunes) along with Natalie Imbruglia for the barbies... LOL... and the old timers can handle all the Bee-Gees they want.

It's just that Jive Talkin'.... so misunderstood.

I don't care what anybody says - Barry Gibb in the "Stayin' Alive" video looks like a f*cking monkey.

Lets all have a Fosters...

I need to turn my chicken on the barbie.

I think Neighbours is on in a bit too.

And my postman looks like Crocodile Dundee.

Why, you jealous..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Boo-yah, although your views are quite controversial to say the least, for the most part you've remain civil, which is commendable. I think it's beneficial that can have discussions like this and still remain civil. You shouldn't feel that everyone here is ganging up on you...but recognize that your views are not shared by most people. I'm sure this isn't the first time where you found your views scrutinized by so many.

Dude, you are way too fukcin nice..... :jest:

Yeah brother Steven, what's up with that?

From some of his posts, it sounded like he was playing the martyr. I wanted to assure him that nobody here is trying to crucify him. He's done a pretty good job of it all by himself.

If I had 1,000 or 10,000 people back my point of view would it really matter. My views are scrutinized for reasons stated earlier. The OT section of VJ reflects a small percentage of views. Some people here seem to forget that.

When someone comes in with opposing views people get excited, start talking big and throwing out big words. Basically trying to make themselves look smart. We have gone down this road before. Especially when it comes to discussions based on culture / race. When I see people talking #### about CarolnMarc do you think I agree with them because I don't respond. Of course not. I just cannot be stuffed getting into it.

Some people need to learn to stick to their own views rather than attacking somebody else's view. I think the only person who has came close to doing that in this thread was #6 and DeadXPool.

Just out of curiosity though - have you experienced similar reactions in real life when you let your views known to others? Did you ever get into a heated discussion with any of your professors in college?

Anyway. Pretty much every nation there that has been handed back in pristine condition is now a #####. Whitey's fault. Maybe some cultures simply cannot manage something for ####.

There is a clear inference that African genocide is a result of some genetic flaw in the makeup of a racial group. Clearly this is not a view that can be allowed to stand unchallenged.

This is not the only time BY made such an outrageous claim. This is not just 'another point of view', it's clearly something much more offensive and I am quite surprised that it is tollerable to allow this to stand on a web site that caters to people from all corners of the globe (although, I am not quite sure how globes have corners).

Be that as it may, anyone that believes that objecting to this type of thing is some 'liberal' nonsense is also guilty of racism.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Well it depends but generally no. Clearly a lot of people in a 'immigration forum' will be biased. That is a given. For example, my guess is that people with spouses from Mexico are probably more likely to lean towards amnesty than everybody else.

Yeah with some professors. Then again neither slavery or any other black American historical event was ever discussed in school.

You're right there. My friend in Australia who was born and raised in South Africa has always said how safer and nicer the country was many years ago; yes he is black. Now living in Australia and more than happy to do so.

Being as astute as you clearly are , maybe you should read up on the concept of culture, cultural environment as well as cultural differences.

I find that honestly surprising. I'm not sure where or how you formed your views about things, but I'd be shocked to find social science teachers teaching those kinds of views in any reputable university or college.

Well the colleges don't teach those views because we are not really interested in the history of black Americans. I have never ever heard anyone abroad say those poor black Americans. Quite the contrary actually and that is coming from a lefty I know in the UK.

Then again it is a different story there in AUS. The majority of aborigines, for example, don't seem to use the victim card or play the blame game.

I'm honestly not shocked by the forgetful nature of the discussant at hand.

There are unfortunately for him, too many pages in this thread that contradict the argument that the messenger is attacked by proxy of the attackers' intelligence being superior in any way. By deduction it becomes an issue, as previously and repetitively noted, an issue of a clear lack of understanding, communication, and overall common sense in argumentation of the issue at hand.

But then again, maybe its just one observer's conjecture. Or two. Or three... and so on.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

What kind of subjects did your social science professors discuss?
