Just to have a thread where members can ask anything about immigration stuff, terminologies, etc., from a simple question to a difficult one.

I believe many from our fellows here at VJ are always open hand to help other members.

Example of question: What is meant by "touch" that people from here were talking about?

Touch means is when your case online was being updated , when the the date change that means you get a "touch"..

Please post your questions and be answered by our fellow members..

??? 2003 -------> Started chatting regularly, became good friends

Nov 2004 -------> Fell in love

Jan 2006 -------> Met (in person) for first time

Apr 2008 -------> Wedding

Jun 2008 -------> Closed on house together

K-1 timeline:

Jun 11, 2007 -------> I-129f sent

Mar 20, 2008 -------> Visa in hand

AoS/EAD/AP timeline:

Apr 26, 2008 -------> Wedding

Apr 28, 2008 -------> Filed (forms mailed)

Apr 30, 2008 -------> Forms received by USCIS

May 06, 2008 -------> Cashed check posted to account

May 10, 2008 -------> NOA1 received for EAD, AP, and AoS

May 10, 2008 -------> Biometrics appt date received

May 28, 2008 -------> Biometrics for EAD & AoS

I think I should get a free mug or tshirt or hat or something for sending them bunches of money and going through the whole big process. When my SO comes in the country, aren't there Uncle Sam figurines or anything?

I got a free mug the other day for donating blood but I didn't WANT a free mug I wanted my free Ben and Jerry's :angry: Dang it that's the third time they've promised Ben and Jerry's then been no Ben and Jerry's! I take blood BACK!

Summer 2001 - met my Scottish boy

December 18th, 2007 - proposal in Madrid's Botanical Gardens with a duck standing behind him going 'food?'

January 18th, 2008 - I-129F sent to VSC

January 31st, 2008 - received NOA1, issued Jan. 24 :)

February 24th, 2008 - NOA2; omgwtfbbqlolz

February 29th, 2008 - NVC letter sent
