Anyone dealt with interview appointment with US embassy Jakarta?

Hi there,

Our petition has been approved on March 19th. No hard copy received yet. For you who have dealt with US embassy in Jakarta, what should I do now to schedule an appt? Should I just wait for packet 3? Will they call me notifying about what I will have to do? Does it make sense to take medical check now?

Pls give me the whole details regarding this!

The petitioner may get packet 3 via email if an email address was provided.

You will get a checklist of documents required to be turned in at the embassy for document inspection. Once you are done with that, you can end up with an interview as soon as the next day. You will need to complete your medical before document inspection. As far as when you can schedule that, it depends on the clinic. In some cases you have to wait until you have packet 3, but some clinics may let you schedule now.

We did it after packet 3. But i know others have done it before getting packet 3. You may not get anywhere with the embassy until you have your nvc case number.
