About 3-4 weeks after NOA2 from USCIS, NVC will mail out a letter to US citizen telling them the DOS Case Number, and that it was forwarded to US Consulate.

NVC will not email anything, and USCIS will not show any status on their site after NOA2.

US Citizen can call and talk to an operator at NVC, or they can email NVC for status.

The automated system wont have any info for K-Visas, they pass through NVC very quickly so NVC does not add them to the automated system.

Start calling next week, and everyday until they tell you it has arrived there, and then you get to call some more to find out when they sent to your embassy. Good luck. Trying to get through on the phone can be frustrating. Don't fret.

Zoals YuandDan al schreven komt de K1 informatie niet op het automatisch systeem aangezien de doorloop tijd kort is! Je zult dus met iemand moeten spreken.

Like YuandDan already wrote, the K1 information is not added to the automatic message system because they pass the NVC quick. So you have to talk to an operator.
