Most people at the interview were not dressed too well. Some even came in sweats.

Seriously? I guess i dont have too much to worry on that front then! Guess they didn't get the memo on first impressions...

I wore Khakis, shirt and sweater. My wife wore a smart pair of pants and a shirt (like she'd wear to work). There were others there in Jeans so I really feel its whatever you feel comfortable in. They aren't going to deny your AOS based on what you're wearing (unless you're stupid and wear a t-shirt with something like "I hate America" on it !!).

Mark :)

Hubbs wore jeans and a burgandy sweater and white tee, jeans and black boots, I wore a Purple sweater with collared white shirt underneath, jeans and black loafers...there were people in high fashion, 3 piece suits and then there were people that had crazy miss matched clothes on.. guess its what makes you feel confident.

good luck!

Most people in USA are not dressed too well (I am not trying to offend anyone ok ?), so don't worry, wear sweat pants or old jeans.

Don't dress up, you might look suspicious.:lol:

Good luck

To my K-1 interview I wore a nice sweater, a pair of good jeans, and my Doc Martens shoes. Others arrived wearing everything from Tshirts and jeans to a very shiny evening dress and 3 piece suit.

At my AOS interview, I wore a blouse and skirt -- sort of business casual.

I think it is always nice to make a good first impression and to show you care enough to at least dress appropriately. I wore black slacks and a yellow sweater set. My husband wore black dress pants and a striped dress shirt. I did notice many people in suits (both men and women) and some casually dressed. I know it probably doesn't matter but the effort wouldn't be wasted. The office we were in, the employees were neatly dressed.

Good Luck!

Both of us went directly from work, so we looked pretty smart.

Have to say that the majority of the people there were in jeans and didn't look particularly well dressed. The guy working on the desk was wearing jeans too. I don't think it matters that much, but I do think that you can make a much better impression if you look like a professional person.
