I went to this site that all the ladies use to see if the Avatars or Avitars or how every you say them had versions that were more realistic than what everyone is using, and they do, I mean thick.

It made me stop and think about our own personal self image... Is it what we see in our minds what we really see in the mirror? I think a vast majority of us see ourselves skinnier than we really are, or is it just me...

M.

Just you.

The rest of us see you as thicker than you really are.

Thank god I'd already swallowed my tea, otherwise I'd have a mess to clean up! That was freakin' hilarious rouguewave!

ETA: I really think I look like a fuzzy blue eagle muppet!

Jesse G, do you really like Anthrax? They were my favorite group when I was in middle school. I still listen to them once a blue moon or so. Can't say I've known too many people who enjoy their music.

Hell yes, I like Anthrax!!

And I most definitely look like a flaming matchstick with buggy boo eyes.

I knew it! :P

I believe we have a mutual friend.... the Swedish chef?.... he has great meatballs.

Yes, the Swedish chef and I go way back. In fact, he's making meatballs for Easter supper tomorrow. Can I expect to see you there? All the muppets will be there!

Seriously, this thread is funny. I think the majority of people, well women at least, think they're heavier than they really appear.

I don't know.... I see many graciously-sized women wearing too little clothing, too often....

There are ''over size'' women that are completely happy with their body. I think it's great. As long as you're satisfied and your health is not in risk, it doesn't really matter if you're skinny or you have more ''meat'' :P

Oh good! I'm dying to catch up with Bert and Ernie. That unibrow is so expressive and endearing. Reminds me of my dear old Mum. :luv:

I don't mind that. It makes me feel better about myself. But, seriously..... there are a lot of women who have been lying to their children about how good they look in spandex. I cannot BELIEVE what I see when I'm in Walmart. :o

I absolutely agree. But it's not the size of the woman..... it's the size of the clothes on the woman and age appropriateness. Don't wear Junior Miss if you're big and beautiful. It attracts the wrong kind of attention.

I can't believe that we're discussing how fake the fake Meez is.

 I was just thinking exactly this ^^^^

That's hilarious.

I believe the "attention" you speak of is an endless barrage of jokes from yours truly.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood

In a modest town where honest people dwell

--July 22---------Sent I-129F packet

--July 27---------Petition received

--August 28------NOA1 issued

--August 31------Arrived in Terrace after lots of flight delays to spend Lindsay's birthday with her

--October 10-----Completed address change online

--January 25-----NOA2 received via USCIS Case Status Online
