I remind them that the gun in my desk isn't just for looks.

"An armed workforce is a polite workforce"

- LuckyStrike 4/4/08

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

See how much of a jerk at work *you* are! :)

uh oh...

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

uh oh...

I think I passed lol

I tend to respond to those coworkers a few ways:

At first I ignore it and find someone to vent to

If it continues.. unfortunatly I can become quite passsive aggressive.

My philosophy is this: I am nice, fair and a team player..but, if you insist on being a passive agressive back stabbing *&%.. then, ITS ON... and I will call 'em out at any chance I get.

I will fight for ppl that have my back, just dont cross me. Just being honest

I worked with one girl who was quite a sh!t disturber. She enjoyed causing chaos and living in chaos.

We went together on a Hair show cruise to Alaska (we are both hairstylists) One night after a few too many drinks- I ripped into her. All the stuff that had happened that I had "let slide" before all came bubbling up to the surface and I exploded. I'm not saying I am proud of my behavior that night but I do admit things changed after that.

We are actually pretty good friends now- last year she moved down the street from my parents house and we spent quite a bit of time together before my return to the US.

I scored 83.

About backstabbing co-workers, the best way to deal with co-workers in general is keep them totally away from you. Don't talk about your personal life, ignore small talk and try to only talk when extremely necessary, meaning, only when it's about work and it needs communication.
