notorised copies of birth cert

HI guys!

Do me and my man need NORTORISED copies of our birth certs/naturalisation/cizitenship certificates. I have read conflicting requirements.

I understand that all copies need to be good quality photoscopies, of both the front and back and that also, upon request the originals need to be produced.

Do we run the risk of being send a RFE if we do not provide notorised copies?

We want the process to be as speedy as possible (obviously) so should be we just get them notorised?

The only notarized copies that are needed are of the I-134 for the interview.

You see, if you're translating the birth certificate in english, than the translation needs to be notorized.

Copies of the translated birth certificate don't need notorization.
