I usually arrive at the airport two+ hours before departure to the USA since they love to call me into secondary.

When I enter with the K1 stamp how much time should I allow myself at the airport?

Also, since one is essentially moving down there, do I need to make a list of everything I have in my three carry-on luggages?

Thanks!

I'd allow for at least an extra 30 minutes to process the K-1. (This is based on the time used by the new guy at my POE who was processing a K-1 for the first time.)

You don't need to make a list of the items in your luggage. It's business as usual.

(Watch someone pop into this thread and assume I'm telling you to only allow yourself 30 minutes to get through Immigration and give me heck. )

I gave myself a total of 3 hours to get through YVR on the day of my POE, and was bored as heck waiting for my 8am flight. Depending on what the pedestrian traffic is going to be like, I'd say at least a half-hour to an hour for your K1 processing should be good.

Do not listen to crikey! Under no circumstances should you allow yourself only 1/2 an hour to get through immigration!!!!
