well finally my husband has his k3 visa interview, march 27

and we all know that being married is NOT a guarantee

we have everything they asked for and more

we know it is 131.00 american dollars for visa application fee

i THINK he will be finger printed, does anyone know if this costs MORE money

how much money can they continually zap from us?

they keep making things harder, i think, just to see who will perserve thru this

money, time, paperwork, delays...#######! anyone tired of it yet?

well I just hope that after 10 months of lobbying for a visa that he gets it (it is a temporary one at that)

all the money spent just to have communication and see each other...OMG

thousands in phone calls and legal fees

what more do they want for devotion and to think if only we had met pre 9/11 how easy it would have been, just to be married to an AMERICAN was YOUR RIGHT into this country

well blah blah blah

we are excited and hopeful if only we could get some more details about the actual interview and money needed at the consulate

ANY INSIGHT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

Salaam Sandrila,

So sorry, i just randomly saw this post now....

Did you post this in the MENA forum? i'm sure someone could give you good insight there...

As far as i know is that the visa costs $131 American dollars and i believe the fingerprinting costs are included. But probably would be best to bring some extra because you never know...

Unfortunately, i'm not much help...

All i can say is best of luck in your interview tomorrow, inchallah!

Please post or PM me to let us know how it worked out.

Inchallah tout se passe bien.

I just want to thank you all for your sharing your information and experience here.

My husband was called yesterday, after only 12 days of AP, to bring his passport and take his visa.

He took the trip back to Casablanca for his 1 30 appointment..when there I am not sure of the details but they told him to come back AGAIN..tomorrow, April 10th. This process is not easy, they just make it harder and harder for you each time...unbelievable! :o

But what is more unbelievable is our dream is becoming a reality.

I cant express the emotion I feel inside to know my husband is free to leave his country and be with me and our family here in USA.

I cant imgaine his feeling. I am so happy for him...I am happy for us... (L)

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE....DREAMS DO COME TRUE...IF IT IS MEANT TO BE, IT WILL BE...

thanks all

THANKS TO GOD, THE ONE WHO SEES ME THRU AND GIVES ME WHAT I NEED

ALLEUIAH!!!

Congratulations Sandrila!

Wow! It's so exciting and encouraging to read about people like you, who have made through!

We are close also. Our petitions were approved by the Uscis and I am waiting for the envelope from the embassy. I'm quite anxious.

God help us!
