Another Birth Certificate Question

Hi All,

My birth certificate (IL) has a couple numbers on it. The first one in the upper-right is the "child's birth number" xx-xxxxxx. The other in the lower-left is 6 digits in red xxxxxx.

Which one do I use on the I-129F, Item #10? This certified copy was issued to me in 2002.

I believe question 10 refers to people who got their citizenship through naturalization, and they want the number from their certificate of naturalization - not a number from a birth certificate (many states don't have a number on their birth certificates).

If you were born in the US then just put N/A. If you got your citizenship through naturalization then put that # down.
