Children at Interview

Good Evening All - What a great source of information this site has proven to be so far!

My question is this: My fiancee is from Moldova and will be attending her K-1 interview at the Bucharest, Romania Embassy. She has a wonderful 6 year old daughter that is on the I-129F petition for K-2 status. Will my fiancee's daughter need to attend the interview with her mom?

Also, anyone who has some Packet 3 information for the Romanian Embassy would be greatly appreciated.

I do believe that children who are also immigrating need to be at the interview.

I did go with my 4 ys old daugther at the interview (they specified she should be with me). The only "advantage" was that I was the first one to get in. but inside I had to wait as long as the others.

She should take some snacks for the child (ask at the gate if it's ok, say they are for the child). Depending of the time of the year when they have their interview, she should be aware that it is rather cold inside for a child; it was summer for us and inside was very cold (around 70 I would say, if not less).

My child was not asked anything, but they did want to see if she was there, so I lifted her up, for the interviewer to see her
