Just wanted to add my contribution to Jason and Marla. Remain positive, persistent and keep praying. Make sure you make up your mind to keep fighting for your family, no one has the right to keep you apart! Keep pressing it will be ok as long as you have determination. Make sure that you have all your paperwork together and organized! TRY...notice I said TRY not to be nervous! Look, the embassy people seem to have a way of knowing if you are legit or not! I believe everyone on this thread is legit...hence I see no reason to worry...you will be fine!

Do you think it would be safe to go ahead and purchase plane tickets for my wife and step-daughter? Their 2nd interview is on Apr 24th and I planned on buying tickets for may 9th.

Don't do it wait until 04/24 make sure they get that visa first. Plus you don't know how long it's going to take for the visa to be issued.
