You can see my filing dates. I called USCIS Monday March 10th. They said my I-130 is paired with my I-129F.

There is a delay in approval because my I-130 was received 8-23-07 & I-129F was received October 9th.

After I called I was touched 3-11 3-13 & 3-14. Do you all think I should bother calling again to see whats going on or will it make a problem?

Thanks for your opinion.

I was in the same boat as you a month ago.

People kept telling me "Just be patient and it will happen." I sent letters and made phone calls.

In the end I don't think any of that helped me because when the K3 flood gates finally opened, My approval was in there.

I know it's not easy to hear be patient but it is the truth.

For example right now I am waiting for NVC to get my petition to move forward and I still call them every day.

Hang in there it will happen

I do not think calling helps your petition get approved any faster, but it does make you feel better because it gives the mind something else to concentrate on. The USCIS does keep track of your phone calls and sometimes gets irritated if you call too often. :P

you are correct on that.

I was actually told that i called too many times and I am only allowed to call once every 30 days.

Which of course I ignored. It didn't help but I felt like I was accomplishing something.

Oh and now I call NVC everyday to check <shrug>

Guess we never learn lol

Maybe you are improving your health by relieving stress.

I lived in N. Richland Hills for a short time and used to water ski in Lake Grapevine. I drove south of Carrollton everyday on my way to work in Addison.

I'm in the same situation as Elbereth...my husband called & couldn't reach anyone other than the person that answered the phone with the grade two education! I'm afraid that the 180 days start when the I-129F was received...it cancels out the 2 1/2 months of waiting for the I-130's NOA1...sometimes you're lucky (such as the January filer that got approval of both I-130 and I-129F) and sometimes you're just not...unfortunately, I used to be happy for my family of VJer's that received approval, now I'm angry and turning bitter...no one dare even ask my husband! A USC of 50 yrs and that's what you get...can't even have your family united! K1's are getting faster approval than a WIFE! ugh!

Thanks to everyone that replied to my post. I do not know what I would do without your support. I start to feel like I am never going to be approved. But I know I must stay positive & remember it is all worth it.

I cannot wait to be with my soul mate (nafaka moja)
