Hello guys! I hope you can give us some advice on this, six hours ago I was talking to my husband, he just off from work and was so happy because he finally got the hard copy of our noa2 approval in his mailbox. He was smiling when he was holding it and telling me that maybe we can call the NVC now to know our case number and probably try to know if our case is already forwarded to the embassy eventhough we know it's still too early to call them, I said he better keep it in a safe place and even told him to send me a scanned copy of it through email so I can see it too, afer receiving the scanned copies of both forms, I130 and I129f, I zoomed and looked at them closely and I noticed on the I129f approval form, my middle initial there is wrong! :( it should be letter J intstead of letter C, I told my husband about it and he looked closely too and yes,,it is indeed wrong :crying: how did that happened? we both felt sad after that and we immediately looked at the other noa2 approval form, the I130 and we're both relieved to know that that one is correct. But that still remains our problem now, we're wondering if that will affect our visa application, we don't know now what to do, we're not sure if we have to call NVC or USCIS regarding this problem, how did USCIS approved both forms on the same day without checking on the different middle initials of the beneficiary? We're really worried on this now..we're afraid this might affect our interview at the USEM in Manila, we're positive that this will be fixed but we just really need your opinions on this guys, thanks so much to all of you here in VJ :help:

hopefully we could say its a mistake due to error. probably the uscis had it wrong... as long as the next docs you'll gona fill up (all the DS-forms), you'll type your name eligibly and correctly coz that will matter most during the interview... noa2 will be needed in the AOS most likely, so i do think no need to worry that much coz its still can be corrected when filing for aos... just fill your names in the form correctly coz they will base that info for your visa. good luck!

Call CSC and let them know, it's not that big of deal. Especially since the other forms are the correct format. As long as your original app is correct, your good. Just call CSC and ask them, If it already went to NVC, then talk to them. If you just got approved, it will still be at CSC for a few days. I've never read anyone denied at the interview because of a typo on the letter.

Thats a easy case. That incident happen to me also. Just write a letter to NVC if your case is already forwarded to them. or USCIS if your case are still there.

Write a letter saying that your middle name is wrong. Clerical Error. give them the original Birth Certificate or any evidence that can prove your middle name. :)

Thanks XPS, my husband already called the NVC but our case is not there yet, and yes my husband just emailed them too, they told him that the USEm here will correct it...but we don't know yet how will the USEM correct it..I guess we should call the USEM Manila too. Thanks a lot for the help.
