Whats your opinions on HR4437

Some people from work were having a Discussion,on the Illegal immigrant protest.I work with alot of mexican people.They were all saying how illgeals are just people etc.They think this new law(if passed?) IS BS.That they should be given green cards and treated like human beings.I had to put my 2 cents in.I told them what we had to go through with my wife and step daughter(from Canada) etc..That how much money and time we spent to get my wife and step daughter here the legal way.That we had to jump through the hoops etc.One person told me"you got ripped off"!I said why?She said B/C if your wife came from Canada they dont need green cards,thats just for Mexican people.Are people really that dumb?I tried to explain to her,that Canada was another country just like Mexico.She said Mexicans are treated so badly,only Mexicans have to have green cards.

I feel if you want to come to this country,then come.But dont expect to just come here then be given resident or citzenship.Do it the correct way,the legal way.It really upsets me to see these people with there Mexican flags waving them at you.Wanting you to vote for them.My wife said I live in the USA.Im proud of the fact that im Canadian.But I respect the USA and hope to be a citzen someday.I would never stand on the side of the street waving a Canadian flag!
