Another question... My brother cant find his birth certificate... Is it ok if i receive a copy of his drivers license to prove he is a US citizen?

Another Question from my last post...

Only past year's IRS data is required, Joint sponsor needs to provide I-864 for CR-1/IR-1 visa or I-134 for K-3 visa. Your joint sponsor can order simple IRS transcripts for 2006,2005 IRS returns, they are FREE. http://www.irs.gov/faqs/faq1-6.html

A Driver's license is NOT evidence of US Citizenship, NON-Citizens can get a drivers license, and the license will NOT indicate that the person is a NON-Citizen. Proof of citizenship are: US Birth Cert, Naturalization Cert, US Citizen birth abroad cert, or US Passport.

Yes if it is a joint account, and your spouse put cash in the account, then yes it can be used as an asset. Keep in mind assets are worth only 1/3 income, so if income falls below the line by 1000, then asset needs to be 3000 to make up fir the short fall.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
