God Salesmen

So I'm eating dinner, when 3 slickheaded salesmen knock on the door.

I knew it wasn't the carpet cleaning salesmen or free newspaper salesmen that try to run their game on me. These guys were more determined. Asking me what I believe in and yadayada.

I pretty much hate all door-to-door salesmen equally, but I think it's especially low to go cruising around spitting sermon. Just my .02

Were they wearing white shirts, with a black name tag (with white embossed names)? Then the Mormons have paid you a visit. If not, some other religious zealot has visited you.

Door to door peeps should be met with a .357 magnum. Click, what do you want? That reaction tends to make them go away quickly.

Mormons would come in pairs on bicycles, yes? Not three? I'm guessing Jehovah's Witnesses.

When groups of strangers show up at my door, I hide until they go away. Hubby has yet to meet any. He'd probably invite them in for tea.

i am agreement with brother matt and all..i think, if one wants to seek a spitiual quest, it is best done on their own initiative..and not brought to your door, by folks trying to make points for the church and the after-life

I don't like any religion that tries to force or encourage others to believe what they believe. If you have your beliefs and it makes your life better or gives you comfort- that's great for you- but accept and respect what other people believe in.

We have a group of spanish speaking Jehovah's witnesses that come to our house. I usually hide from them but Javi always talks to them. I keep telling him he needs to just tell them we already go to church. But he says, I can't be rude to them. So, they keep coming back, over and over again bringing articles and ####### to the house. Ok this is bad, but my parents had JW's always coming to their home, and one day i was there, and they showed up as usual. My dad was annoyed and i sd id take care of it. So i answered and told them we were satanist, needless to say we have never seen them again, unless they are walking PAST the house

I might if I had a gun. I haven't gotten one yet. Right now I just have a bb gun and I think that would just tick them off. They aren't even scared of my pitbull when she barks at them. Of course, her bark is def worse than her bite, as she just lets them walk right past her to the door. :lol:
