It all seems to be a good idea but the US government has to set some kind of program in place so that the illegal immigrants will no longer be a problem, that said it is going to be costly which ever way the US government implement it. I noticed on the news that they were waving flags that were not American, these people cannot want to be here that much if they cannot even wave the flag of the country that they insist that they want to stay in. Can someone make me understand this type of action??

what's annoying is the news channels dropped the "illegal" in front of it and it became immigration protests. and i highly resent being lumped in with this band of criminals, since i'm going thru a k-1 with my fiancee :angry:

I am here in Los Angeles and watching on tv the "Day without an immigrant" protests in downtown. It really infuriates me to see these disrespectful Mexican Illegal aliens waving the Mexican flag, and waving our flag upside down. These idiots rally know how to offend Amercans, our culture and our tradtions. It's a pity our gov't is too chickenshit to do anything about it.

A Mexican recording label just released a Spanish version of our National Anthem. Turned it into some Tijano pop version. This is our "American" National Anthem and needs to be sung in our Language!!!!

I need to agree.

I could come up with a swiss german version of the anthem and so could everybody else with their native language who lives in america. This is stupid.

I don't immigrate in this country to live like I would in switzerland and it is not possible. I came over here because of a different culture and know I am in love and will not leve for a whle.

sure I practice my traditions like cooking and so on from switzerland. But I don't expect anybody to speek fluent german just because I decided to move here.

I learnd freeking language and I will keep learning and improving.

If they wan't to be accepted they should wave the american flag and not the mexican.

This is all so wrong.

I could right more and more about them. But it just does not make sence to waste more words.

I think you misread my statement. It wasn't directed at you but at those that can't seem to get themselves to integrate. Those that waive their flags and sing their songs while claiming to have a sincere desire to become a part of this great nation of ours.
