Congratulations! That is good news to hear. It validates that the USCIS can't change the rules int he middle of the game. They need to produce some new policy before they can actually act on the change. I think they thought they might be able to get away with the happy people with approved I130. I bet the didn't know VISAJOURNEY could have so much collaboration on what they were doing. They were caught with there Hand's in the cookie jar.

It is great to have a choice! Isn't that just what America is about.

The CR1 is a better way to the US, if your embassy isn't difficult and time consuming.

So Enjoy!

Ok, so guess what I found on my Inbox this morning? The approval e-mail for my I-129 saying it had been approved yesterday and that it was going to be forwarded to NVC.

I called NVC because my I-130 has already been assigned there and was told to just ignore anything for the K-3 if I do not want to proceed with it, which is what I will be doing. I had cancelled the K-3 three weeks ago and just decided to proceed with the I-130 and got that approved quickly.

NVC mentioned that this has been happening lately because of the USCIS' back and forth on the K-3. The rep told me they cannot make up their minds and some people get both approved or I-130 only to get the I-129 later.

God bless them, at least my I-130 is moving forward!!

I never thought of that. That is great!

Seeing as I clearly stated I am now going for the IR1, I think I'll not ignore the paperwork.

I just won't worry about the K-3.

Sorry, your profile says K3. NVC won't send you anything on the K3 and you really want to let it go on to the Consulate. The best outcome is to end up using your K3 interview date for the CR1 interview.

That's what we hoped for in the old days when both petition would routinely get sent to NVC when approved.
