My mom is my co-sponsor. She handwrote the I-134, but it is signed and notarized. This is ok, correct?

She has no filed her 2007 taxes, so I have a copy of her W2 and 1099. She is self employed. I have the originals of her 2006 and 2005 taxes. Will they accept this for the I-134, I do not want to be denied because of insufficient documentation for the I-134. She makes well over 21,000, so we should not have a problem, correct? I just need peace of mind.

For my I-134, I also only have a copy of my 2007 W2 but 2005, 2006 originals. I am a student and I am not working at this time. So I have no letter of employment. Should I get a letter from my school instead? Will the fact I make NO money be a problem?????

I need peace of mind...please...anyone

Has anyone been a student that made no money and still was approved???

ok if i am correct...if not i hope someone will come along and correct me....when you file a co-sponser you include you, your fiancee, mom and anyone else in the family household....if it is just the 3 of you then the poverty line is 22,000....so if your mom makes more then you should be fine....i would also have her fill out a i-864 just incase...in my experince i didn't make enough for 06' so my parents had to be co-sponsers and they had to fill out a i-864...not sure if they will be pickey...but it is better to be safe then sorry... here is the updated 08' povert guidlines....and you have to be 125% over...

I would actually suggest getting your taxes and her taxes done and taking the complete 2007 returns. You still have a week or so.....it can be done in a rush.

I really think it would be better to have it all at this point.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
