Stays in the bedroom when I need some time just to myself/gives me my space...

I told my husband one of his first tasks will be to build himself a much needed "man room" for when all three of us are simultaneously pms'ing.:lol:

Ritesh is a big 'feeder' also - anything he eats or cooks, he loves to share with me...

Always thinks of my comfort and happiness first when planning trips, nights on the town, etc.

Always talks things through and never raises his voice or temper...

Is calm when I am exasperated about things in India, things to do with this process, etc.

My hubby is super-calm too - I have never seen him lose his head about anything even when I was going crazy over everything we needed to do for the court wedding. That's one of the things I love most about him.

If we are going somewhere (like Pokhara or Chitwan) he would tell me to relax somewhere with our luggage and then he would take time to find the nicest hotel he could find on our budget - he always found wonderful places that he knew I would like rather than just settling for the most convenient or cheapest.

He is also big into 'feeding' too - I love it... (L)

I would much rather live in Nepal than in the US, but I am willing to be patient - with the political situation(nobody knows the outcome of the election on April 10) it may be good for us to ride out the storm here for a few years and then go back - but my heart is still 100% Gorkhali... (L)

My husband will come home from work at midnight and ask me if i want a massage. But one of the things that irritate me is that he leaves dirty dishes in the refrig. and oven. HAHAHA, go figure that one out.

A man room...........hmmmmmmm Amal did you read that? Build a man room for Noor.

I will tell Ibrahim that the garage is his 'man room'......

jah

don't knock it till ya tried it!!! I have a room in the basement that's got his name on it. He just has to dig a french drain around the perimeter of the house to stop the once..twice/year flooding, throw in some carpet, add a stereo and tv and a mini fridge and he's good to go!

I agree, a man room will be ideal when we move, and maybe a nice quiet woman room too! :)

After some years, we will be moving back to India and building a house, but we both decided that a few years of him getting to know my family and my cultural background would be good for our marriage, as well as his career! :)

I have one from last night

He knows I like the fresh pita bread but I can't eat a whole one right now. He went and found little ones 1/2 the size and bought them for me last night - they were even fresh too :luv:

He also ALWAYS does the dishes bc he knows I hate doing it... I don't even attempt it anymore.

He cooks for me when I'm tired

He always calls me during the day when he's thinking of me at work

He never raises his voice with me and always has respect for me

We are still getting used to eachother again, but it's the little things that let me know he cares (L)

he didn't really DO anything...just bein' himself ... and with me being so dreadfully sick lately, I'm not in the mood to put up with it.

For me to tell what he does that irritates me...well that would take a whole nother thread to get all that out.

Problem is .. I love him to pieces and for everything that irritates me, I'm sure there is something that pleases me. I am just not in a position to think very hard sooo none are coming to mind...

When I read all of these sweet things everyones husband does it makes my heart sing. My husband does so many wonderful things that there isn't enough space or time.

Also, when I read these, I picture the horror stories that goes on all to often about the men that are using women for green cards. Like I said, I know a butt load of men here that are using women left and right for all sorts of things. They do what is necessary to get what they want from them, but nothing more. Sad thing is that these women are so hungry for any attention it doesn't take much to satisfy them.

My husband's a keeper!

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

I think mine is a keeper too (in all honesty)

he's clean, quiet, calm, non smoking, intelligent and all that jazz. We all have our moments though, ya know??

I do definitely think a man room is top priority when we move. Great idea!

I'm still trying to think of something good he does to "show me" that he cares.

He only complained for like 10 minutes the other day when I cooked something he forgot he liked and wasn't sure what it is. Then he ate it and liked it... does that count?

Where is the former "i like my husband because..." thread? I remember liking him back then and maybe it will refresh my memory...
