Received Visa Today - 6 Weeks After Interview

Hello Everyone!

Finally, after 27 business days from Feb 8 interview Delbros delivered my visa at 2pm today.

Thank God, my Holy Week will not be literally "Biernesanto", so to speak. Let me thank all those who

responded to my queries, those who shared their experiences. I am a Johnny-come-lately

member here, that's the reason why I was put on AR, but then getting the visa is just a beginning.

There's more to learn and share.

Thank you to ronmay, civiram_hcl, delbertson, dawnlake, and most specially to edp333, who inspite of being

in the same situation as I do, gave his support and encouraging words.

To all those who are still on AR, for sure your visa will be released soon.

Apr 08 - Married in Wickcliffe County, Kentucky

June 24 - Mailed I-485 and I-765

July 01 - NOA1 (Mail received July 05)

July 03 - ASC Appointment Notice for Biometrics on July 23

July 23 - Completed Biometrics St. Louis, MO ASC

July 25 - I-485 Case Transferred to California Service Center

December 14-----NOA2 Hard Copy

December 21-----NVC recieved

December 28-----NVC send to US embassy in Ethiopia

January 8---------US embassy in Ethiopia will recieve

January 11--------Packet 3

February 7 -------Interview

February 7 -------Passed interview

February 12------VISA in hand

February 22------IN the USA

March 1-----------Wedding

March 15----------Sent AOS

July 7 -------------Finger Print

January 27, 2009--Green card approved without interview. It took almost one year though.

Feb 2 -------------Got the green card in the mail

Next: playing the waiting game for the 2 years holding removal

April 24, 2008 - interview and VISA APPROVED!

May 02, 2008 - visa in hand, had the CFO stamping done at once, bought ticket online...

May 03, 2008 - flew to US to be with stinky love...

July 22, 2008 - Sent AOS Package to CHICAGO Lockbox

July 24, 2008 - received package

July 29, 2008 - NOA for AOS and EAD

Aug 01, 2008 - Touched....

Oct 01, 2008 - Received EAD

still waiting on AOS
