Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Thank you's are cool, but it bugs me more when someone asks the same question (or states the should-now be corrected info) over and over again despite it being answered a few times over previously. I just wind up ignoring the subsequent requests.

lol @ Jenn :luv:

It doesn't bother me if I don't get a "thank you" for my responses. But I am usually happily surprised whenever I do get a thank you :luv:

I am with LaL about posters who keep asking the same question even though they have already received answers.

After you and/or other members have gone out of their way to politely respond to another member's question, does it bother you that they don't post a thank you for your input?

"I know! Maybe I'll just go through each unacknowledged thread and post a "You're welcome" message! Kinda like I do when I open the door for someone and they walk right through without saying anything. :hehe:"

Okay: peruse away and I promise to thank you for your responses.

Currently, I only have 2 unacknowledged. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

No, but thank you for asking. I would imagine that you have not given much thought to thanking those who have taken part in your poll. I also do not expect a waiter to follow me to the parking lot and fall to their knees thanking me for the tip I left for them. Most information here is gratuitous and I do not think most expect a thank you, but it never hurts to be grateful and to express that gratitude.

:o

*contemplates another poll on un-called for rude posts*

Second the motion

Saying "thank you" is a nice way of showing appreciation and politeness. (but of course depends on their tone how they say it, some are being sincere while some are obviously sarcastic.)

I think the person that should be bothered are those not exercising the "thank you" in their everyday lives.

Peace everyone.

Thanks for creating this topic, nice one. Though i didn't vote. yay!! :)
