I was defending myself as in the comments made about my PM. Id rather ppl know it was me and relate their comments of any kind to ME!

I already stated earlier in this thread that this thread was not a time or place for this stuff, MissLiss made it like this when she posted MY "private" messege to her.

There are other sides to stories, she was acting as a victum in our PM conversation and i will not be made out to be a bad person when in fact i am not! so i responded!

First of all i did NOT laugh, learn the difference between a smile and a laugh! I thought what ShonJave said was right on the money!

yes ... most here are quite astute and can discern how people really are without getting into a she said/she said pm war.

melissa ... you're getting sidetracked again ... ignore this shite and deal with the issues at hand. like how are you going to approach your parents this weekend?? you always get sucked into what people think of you and trying to justify everything ... move on!

I was defending my PM as you posted it to get ppl to say exactly what you wanted and said. You posted it for your own attention.

You would have done the same thing if someone did that to you, and you read comments ppl wrote, if someone feels harsh about my PM good, we are all entitled to our feelings, but it should be directed to ME since i AM the one who wrote it.

Ok we're moving along...sorry I got sidetracked. I have been reading every post though so I didn't miss anything. I don't think now is the right time to tell them and I'll tell you why....I would really like for them to be at my wedding. I just want my mom and dad to see their daughter walk down the aisle. Afterward, everything will be brought out into the open...I actually give my word on that. Just let me have this little happy time...who knows...maybe if they're pissed at me it will make the separation easier for them. Monique, I got through his deportation. I will make it through this.

sister melissa, i understand this is going to be hard for them to accept..very hard, for they love their daughter and sometimes they think they know what is best for you..but you are grown woman and one who is capable of making decisions and running your life....be strong...your brother dean

Monique, we haven't always agreed but I really am with you on this one. I want them to know. When the time is right, they will know everything. I'm planning it so as to have the littlest negative effect on things possible.

was your Javier denied because of his drug activity? or was he denied because of being in the states illegally?

I believe that someone can be rehabilitated... but I cannot answer that your javier has been since i don't know him... I also believe that dues must be paid to rectify a situation...

Has Javier paid those dues? NOT ACCORDING TO THE GOV'T...

This does not involve a personal opinion... it involves the process of the government

Maybe that would be a temporary solution...

I don't have any given ANSWERS... but, I don't think that any problem will be solved by a continued verbal dispute over someone not having the same opinions as yours.

I am sorry that you are faced with this difficult situation... My prayer for you is that you can find a solution that works for you both.

awwww melissa *hugs* i really feel for you. of course we all avoid or minimize certain situations to reduce the negative fall out. why do you think they wouldn't support you through this? you're a great daughter, you're on your own, you hold down a job, you're responsible. i hate that you think they wouldn't be there for you. not much would keep me away from my children's wedding. but i do respect your decision as it is your life to live not ours ... it's just really confusing for me and some other mother's here.

Mel, seriously think about the possibility of waiting here. How long can you go to Mexico for? cos you could go there for extended visits along the way
