Time to get this nonsense out in the air...someone has told me this...

I feel no hatred for my situation at all! My situation is fine, because we are doing it legally! My fiance was man enough to sit back and wait, not run across a border like a chicken on crack!!!!

Your situation pisses me off, because you reach out for so much attention on it, knowing a majority of people do not going to agree with you. My situation is so much different than yours, my fiance is doing things right, yours did not, im not or will never be the bitter one!!!!!

I WILL NOT say who it is to protect privacy. And DON'T make any assumptions as to who it may be. I'm just wondering if any others share this opinion. Please tell me, because if so then I don't really have a place here.

Don't let the sunshine spoil your rain...just stand up and COMPLAIN!

Melissa, all I think on the subject is that you are super sensitive about illegals and such and that's why you and I have disagreed in the past. But you know that I honestly feel for your situation and I'm sorry you couldn't do more about it. I admire the fact that you DID try and not just have him come here illegally again.

Your place here at VJ is guaranteed as you are still trying to get your fiance here legally, and essentially that's what these boards are all about.

Just my opinion.

August 26th -- interview date - we need to complete a I-601 waiver so it's back to waiting again

January 6, 2005 i-601 waiver approved!!!!

January 21, 2005 VISA IN HAND

February 12, 2005 WEDDING!!!!!

March 10, 2005 mailed AOS and EAD applications to Chicago

April 18, 2005 EAD and AOS receipt dates for NOA

June 30, 2005 AOS RFE evidence submitted (translated birth certificate)

August 10, 2005 ---EAD approved via infopass appointment

October 18, 2005 - AOS interview in St. Louis - received an RFE for vaccination supplement

February 9, 2006 - denial for AOS letter due to the wrong form being submitted from the doctor. PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN TO YOU!!

February 16, 2006 - USCIS accepts the motion to reopen without an additional fee - finally something goes right! We should hear from USCIS St. Louis office within 2 weeks.

April 3, 2006 - Received welcome to America letter in the mail!

April 8, 2006 - Received GC in the mail - done for 2 years!!!!

March 1, 2008 - mailed off I-751

March 3, 2008 NSC delivery confirmation

March 10, 2008 NOA 1

March 28, 2008 Biometrics appointment

Legal Permanent Resident - just waiting for time to pass for him to have eligibility for citizenship.

I was asking everyone in general. This person said a "majority" of people so I wanted to see if that was in fact the case.

what has javier said about it? what are his thoughts? and your parents ... how are they dealing with this? i'm sure they hate to see you so distraught.

comletely aside ... don't let your thread of comfort turn into a flame war ... whoever sent you a pm ... keep it that way, no reason to air dirty laundry. you already know who your confidants are just ignore the rest. especially at this very stressful time ... let that junk go and stick with the issues at hand.

Javier said he doesn't care about the Visa-he just wants to be together. Since I just found out today while at work, the parents haven't seen me. They won't actually see me until this weekend and I'll be plenty calm by then! I'm not planning to tell them he was denied. And as much as I respect everyone's right to an opinion, I would appreciate not being judged on that decision. I had already begun to mention the idea of a wedding in Mexico to my mom. I will continue the discussion as I had already planned.

As for my posting of the PM, it upset the sender so I'm sorry for posting the PM without your permission. I was simply shocked to see the suggestion that a "majority" of people felt that way and wanted to make certain that was not the case. Which it isn't. Please excuse my lack of discretion-I'm still not all here yet.

i can appreciate and respect the fact that you haven't told your parents about javy's 10 yr ban and then his most recent 3 yr ban for applying for a waiver but i really, strongly urge you to come clean with them before this becomes even more convoluted.

you really need your parents during this time of need and i'm sure they'll understand .... you're their daughter, they love you and want the best for you. they know javy makes you happy. please gather yourself and really consider telling them this weekend.

sometimes we imagine the worse and it doesn't end up being that way, you can never go wrong with honesty. we're on your side through this, melissa.

Im just going to be freakin honest here, and i am not concearned with what anyone has to say about it. MissLiss you know darn good and well i wrote you that PM because out of NOWHERE you sent me a PM, and you continued to attack me and my opinions. You continued to insult me, and that is the PM you got in return. If you would get off your highhorse long enough to realise the world around you owes you nothing, just as it owes me and no one else anything, that you would realise for ONCE that you bring alot of these hard words people say to you on yourself. I said what I had to say in my PM to you, and if you dont like it, DONT PM ME!!! its simple, dont PM me with insults and #######, and you wont get insulted right back!

With that said, I again dont care what anyone thinks of me, but i was not going to sit here and have her post my PM on a public thread only to have her look as if she is this wounded little bird who has never said a harsh thing to anyone else on here.
