I know! Every time I start it, people can hear it from a mile away - LOL!

I'm curious. If people couldn't hear you a mile away, would it detract from your enjoyment of the vehicle?

Yes, it would! :P

I like to bike to work, it saves on gas and I get some fresh air and time to think. Besides, in another 20 years you're going to wish you had continued to bike to work because your azz is going to define who you are.

Remember my goal is to die by the time I am 75. So as to not be a burden on society.

I have too many errands to do everyday to mess around with riding a bicycle, It would be counter-productive. No carrying capacity.

I did enjoy those 10 mile bike rides to Vancouver, Washington and back.

:lol::lol::lol:

So, which other measures are you taking to ensure your goal is fulfilled?

I love mayonnaise, beef and Pork. As a matter of fact, I try to make it a goal that two animals, not just one must die for my meal. I try to eat fillet mignon as often as I can.

My beloved Joy is here, married and pregnant!

Sounds more like you're on the Atkins diet...although I ma not sure if the mayonnaise qualifies - which would mean you'll have to try harder to achieve your goal. What about alcohol? Do you exceed the recommended limit on a regular basis?

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

If you live that close you should bike to work, short trips are the worst for fuel economy and your car's engine...unless they have change the internal combustion engine significantly recently.

Why bike when there are plenty of decent horses. You'd only need to worry if the journey required a change of horse.

Questions:

If we didn't have fuel burning vehicles would we have (recent) wars?

Would we have asthma?

Would we have more time with family?

Think about it.

Yes, yes, and no.

If we didn't have fuel burning vehicles we'd be living in the middle-ages. They had no shortage of wars...

Two animals is easy. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, club sandwich for lunch or for maximum impact, a fillet mignon and lobster with a side of shrimp. With hash browns and fries all around. Sounds like a good day to me! Just trying to do my part in the food chain.

I do not drink a drop. I blew out my liver at 18, So I didn't even go out for a drink on my 21 birthday. No alcohol, No drugs, No tobacco. Did my rounds with each in my past, but I have broke free from all of these things. Water, Coffee, Milk and tea. In that order and that's it.

Looks like the liberal democrats are at it again...More social engineering to change your behavior, because of course they know what's best for all of us!

Of course their limos and private jets are exempt. They have an important job to do!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

I know someone who is working on a project to make an artificial liver - it's at the 'consumer testing' stage now. Incredible stuff.
