I would like to thank the irresponsible and greedy banks for handing out interest only loans to people that have no business getting them, I would also like to thank those that, without thinking things through, took on those high risk loans they should have never taken on. I would also like to thank those that got their d!cks caught in the door speculating on properties in areas that were already over priced. But most of all I would like to thank our dumb-azz government for taking money from everyone else to give me a check for $1500. It shows they have no more sense than the ones that started the banking crisis by borrowing money to give away. I will wisely use this money to pay down my debt and put myself in a better financial situation. I would like to thank you all.

sanita already has spent the money, plus some extra ..she wants a new bedroom suite..cause the one we bought 2 years ago, has a bad color for the room..#######? if i can sleep in the bed and not end up on the floor..it is excellent..and if the drawers on the chest has a back and a bottom...well happy days are here,..

.but, sadly my opinion means nil..and i will eagerly go to the furniture store, with glee and allot of agreement...

Good information. Those who requested for direct deposit during tax filing will get the money sooner, as the direct deposit stimulus payments will be deposited by May 16.

Well we're still getting screwed but not as bad as I once thought. We ended up not having to pay as much as we thought, so we'll get our stimulus check. But, we filed under Javi's social so we'll be the last batch of checks sent out. And since we had to pay, I'm assuming we'll get a paper check instead of direct deposit.

I, like Gary, am paying off debts with it. I know the idea behind the check is for everyone to spend it to stimulate the economy. Personally I think everyone would be better off paying debts or sticking it in a savings account of some sort.
