Ok, so last week, my work fired one of the office girls. Called it downsizing. On Sunday, I watched Nancy get let go on the sales floor, that made me cry and worry. Then comes Monday,,,,,we are called together as a group, now a small group, and were told Mary in the warehouse was just laid off. She was with the company 9 years and ran her department like it was her own. Downsizing. Coming to a town near you.

I was told twice this weekend that I am safe. sigh...I sure hope so.

Amal, im very sorry for your bad day today, i hope things get brighter for you.

.....this was the third attempt to make a post, my pc (at work) locked up on me twice!

anyway, to jenn's post about the stupidest thing ever done, one of my highlight moments in life, was shortly after h.s. graduation going to a job interview. i walked into the wrong building was told told that I needed to go around back so thats what i did. i went to the back of the building and tried opening the door and the door was stuck, i kept trying to open the door, i didnt want to be late for this interview and some scared woman ( who told me to go around back)opened the door and was surprised to see me and said no no, i meant the back building...oops what an A$$ i felt-she told me that she thought somebody was breaking into her office...lol- oh well i was young and dumb then...lol

Stupidest thing I ever did:

Didn't keep up to date with the school calendar when the kids were in kindergarden and first grade so as a result I picked them up one day in June and the teachers said "have a good summer!"

I had camp set up for the following week but this was a Monday with no daycare planned whatsoever!!!!

Ok,,,one time when we changed the clocks...I changed all of them at work except my desk clock. So I'm thinking at 5pm I am closing the store on time, get to my car and the radio guy said... the time is 6pm. I'm like #######? OMG I forgot to change my clock ahead and worked an hour for nothing! NO wonder no one came in...lol.
