Good Morning Everyone and Happy Tuesday!! Today is a blessed day!! Congrats to all the people who got their visa's today including my husband......yeah!!

Our timeline:

September 29, 2005.......met online.

October and November 2006......was in Egypt with my sweetie.

November 1, 2006......We were married.

December 2006........I-130 filed

January 2007...........I-129 filed

April 2007................I-130 and I-129 approved

June 14, 2007.........Visa interview completed

December 2, 2007.....Home interview

February 12, 2008........Second interview

February 26, 2008....I was called by the embassy and was given a short interview over the phone and was told that my case will be moved forward and someone would contact my husband soon to send in his passport.

March 2, 2008......My husband was contacted by the embassy to send in his passport.

March 3, 2008......Passport sent by DHL.

March 4, 2008......Embassy received the passport.

March 18, 2008......VISA IN HAND!!! YEAH!!

August 15, 2008....filed I-485 adjustment of Status and I-765...Employment Authorization

October 14, 2008.....I-765...Employment Authorization approved, card received 1 month later.

January 15, 2009......Adjustment of Status interview for green card...approved!!! Received green card two weeks later.

:dance::dance: I'm just dancing for everybody today! :dance::dance: Now we just have to hear how ali did in Morrocco! He was so worried about getting AP/AR. I hope him and Theresa are celebrating today!

La Princessa finally accepted there is a man in the house. She has been hiding and flipping me off for days now. Last night she came into the living room carrrying her toy mouse in her mouth and started bitching at me to throw it. Life is normal again.

The ex's gf and HER ex were making me crazy yesterday with head games. Answer to that issue, change my damn phone number! Called tmobile and within minutes......new number. So.....to my buddies here. please pm me for the new number.

Ok, truth or dare Tuesday. Who's first?

10/14/2009 - Biometrics completed

01/01/2010 - finally an update - awaiting interview letter

02/08/2010 - interview (Garden City, NY) -- PASSED

03/03/2010 - Oath Ceremony in Brooklyn

03/13/2010 - U.S. Passport in hand

and MORE MABROOKULATIONS-ES-ES to everybody else who has been approved. I remember Nagi but can't help but think I'm forgetting someone... I'm so sorry if I am.

Jackie, u better add me or I'mma cry! I'm so sorry I couldn't call last night, as i told ya in pm, coz hubster and I are kind of at odds right now so my time online stopped as soon as he got home :unsure: I'm sorry for that. You were with me, however, in my mind, heart, and prayers girl.

Bad news today for me but I don't wanna wreck the truth or dare game day frenzie so I'll wait for a pizzy thread to tell my "cry-ee" story in. :crying:

(((((((amal))))))))))) hope your day is better and when you go on lunch, call me.

Ok, so last week, my work fired one of the office girls. Called it downsizing. On Sunday, I watched Nancy get let go on the sales floor, that made me cry and worry. Then comes Monday,,,,,we are called together as a group, now a small group, and were told Mary in the warehouse was just laid off. :crying: She was with the company 9 years and ran her department like it was her own. Downsizing. Coming to a town near you. :blink:

I was told twice this weekend that I am safe. sigh...I sure hope so.
