Hi Everyone! We are new here and happy to be apart of this great big family. This site has already been so helful, wish we could have known earlier. We are nervous that NVC has put us in administrative processing for a reason? After checking and reviewing my forms, i found an error. An honest mistake i made on our I-129F question #11 "Have you ever filed this or any alien fiance(e) or husband/wife before? I checked "no" mistaken the question to be... have i ever filed a I-129F, which i have not. But, i have filed an I-130 for my ex-wife back in 2000 and have been legally divorced since 2005, which i sent copies to USCIS. It also states if "yes" give all aliens name, place & date of filing, which i have here with me at home. Could we get an approval for NOA2 and then have problems with NVC, or worse, at her interview when or if the visa interview may be set up? What is the best course of action, wait and see? Or proactively pursue trying to contact them? I know the USCIS (CSC) may have been the appropriate and more easy choice, but until now and the 3 week delay at NVC, we did not realize i might have made a mistake? Please help...Thank you! Best wishes to all of you on your dream come true:)

This sounds like it could cause a delay, but I don't know why CSC didn't catch it. If this is the case, it won't cause you to get denied, but maybe only delayed a bit. I think you'd be right in calling them until you get some real answers. Best of luck to you. You're half way there.

AP doesn't have to take forever - weedebz got told her case was in AP on the Friday and out on the Monday so it didn't delay her at all :) I'm not sure why you didn't get an RFE for the mistake but like Jason/Sasha said - this might be the cause for the delay now :)

Thank you for your kind support :innocent: We just had our case fowarded from NVC on 3-20, about 3 weeks after they received it. We didn't have any RFE's our anything to reply to, maybe just a slight hold-up and that was it  Hope you both have a great weeekend
