Ok, so has anyone had experience in using a dash in their name? Does a computer accept a dash or a space? Does USCIS prefer what is on the passport or birth certificate? Passport has a dash,,,B1 visa does not have a dash........this damn dash is causing me some grief.

I put ours all together. BUT JACKIE....If I ever get divorced or something tragic happens that causes me to be single again...I'm changing my name back to my maiden name and NEVER taking another mans name again!

If ur just asking about his name and ur not changing urs.... first, disregard the first paragraph ...then I say put the dash coz more than likely he's gonna drop the AL anyway when he writes it. OR u can just put a space. I wish I woulda done that with hubster coz it gets confusing. grrrrrrr

He's sometimes a dasher and sometimes not. He don't want to drop the Al from his name and with his last name..he needs the Al

I just dont know if a dash is better on documents or no dash....then comes the issue of space or no space....... :bonk: shoot me now..lol
