Packet 3

I was wondering if we could send off packet 3 before getting it using scans of the check list in the gallery and downloaded forms? anyone else do this?

Might not be a good idea to send a packet early.....You might miss something and really you have not been invited to send it in. You could call the embassy and ask them. Maybe thats your best bet. Sometimes embassies email the packet 3 info. Mine did. I just called and the lady asked for our email addresses and emailed it the next day. Good luck!!

What is packet 3.

Eunice recieved packet 4 yesterday with an interview date of April 29.

Are we missing something.

I am in Brazil and have not recieved the NOA2 yet, although I know it has arrived at my home in the U.S.

Some consulates do not issue a package 3 (Russia, for Example)

Brazil may be the same. If you already have your interview Date and package 4, you are fine.

To the OP, I do not suggest doing that..it could mix things up greatly. You don't know exactly what forms they want from you, sometimes it's different every time. You could download all the forms, fill them in and get all them ready but don't actually send it in until you have received package 3 in the mail.
