I am getting ready to submit my I-751 and I have a quick question.

On Part 5 where it asks you to list all your children, does this include any children that my husband (US Citizen) had before he met me or just the children born to our marriage?

If someone could clarify this for me, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

I asked that question as well and never received an answer. I rationalized my decision of not including my husband's daughter even though she is my step-daughter as she is not 'technically' my child. She is a US citizen by birth and she is his child. If I am wrong they can let me know as I included correspondence from her to me in my I-751 package. We have no children together. I don't know what others did as I never got an answer to that inquiry. Maybe you will have more luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Part V asks for "Information about your children." Part IV asks for "Information about the spouse or parent through whom you gained your conditional residence." Part I asks for "Information about you.

Your US citizen husband is not "you," and his children from a previous marriage are not "your children."

This is pretty much how we interpreted the questions too. So, for Part 5 we put my son's name and did not include my step-son.
