I am the finacee filling out the g-325a information to send in WITH the petition of the K1 Visa form 1-129F.

At the end of the g-325a form it asks for the Alien registration number. Where do we get the number????

You can leave that field blank on the G325a. Good luck.

You won't get an Alien registration number, or "A" number until you get the NOA2.

They only ask this on the G-325 as you also need that same form when adjusting status to pemanent resident (AOS).

This is a frequently asked question. The alien will not have an A# until after you file the petition. Later when adjusting status from the visa, the G-325A is used again and the alien will have a number.

Only exception is if the alien was in the USA before like on a student or work visa, and in that case the may have one from the prior residency.

Also in the last box with the heavy border how would I put my fiance's alien registration number there while she has none. Can I just leave it blank.

This number is on your NOA2 directly under the Petitioner's name, above the Beneficiary's name

NO. It is not the USCIS receipt number. It is the number starting with an 'A' I mentioned above.
