Hi VJ members, I sent my K-1 application to CSC in mid-December, but have not been touched since December 31. I'm wondering (and a bit impatient) is this normal? When should I start calling them to ask about my case? Your help is much appreciated during this time!

Thanks much!!

u can try to call them after 5 or 6 months after u filed the case.

Yes, this is very normal.

Things have been working a little crazy lately. Super fast VSC approvals, etc. etc.

There have been some December CSC filers approved lately.

You may see yours very soon!

Usually from NOA1 to NOA2 it's a 4 to 6 month wait...Just prepare yourself for that.

You could call but they probably won't tell you anything until you have been waiting the 6 months. If you've been waiting that long, call away.

I know it gets very exciting seeing people around you who filed getting approved but stay calm..you will just cause yourself added stress.

Your time will come!!!

Best of luck!!! :)

Yes that is normal.

CSC shows the oldest cases being worked on were filed last August, the stock answer that USCIS will give you is to wait until 30 days past the processing date indicated on their website, and then call about it. So in this case people who filed before last August need to be conserned.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Thanks much for letting me know that you're still waiting. It's so hard...not so much waiting...but the not knowing. You're right, all we can do is keep our head up. Good luck to you too!
