Sandy and Terrie, Thanks soooo much. We were given short notice without detail Sunday morning. My Fiance is hundreds of miles away from home working, so he had to drop everything on a whim and head home and gather evidence. I was finally able to make contact with a helpful person ( Chris )at DOS who confirmed the interview and gave us a time and what was to be brought to the interview.

I went to the Doctors today and I have to have another procedure next Thursday, my fourth in 2 months, and the stent is still in. Sheesh! But, Praise God, anyway!

you know i'll be thinking of you. Good luck!!!!

Do you ever feel like you are just so ignored? Well I do and although I don't post that much it seems like this forum is not for everyone. Sorry but I do feel this way.

Don't feel bad Jeanne, I know how you feel. Not many here respond to my post either but there are more than enough people on here that truly care about ALL of us and truly care about our journey as well. You just have to be patient and open yourself up to them. I am sorry if I do not respond to you but I really do not say much anymore because I do not like to get caught up in the negative stuff that happens sometimes. Feel free to PM me! :D

Speak of getting ignored? how come certian ppl get slumber party for there interviews and others (within the past few days) get totaly ignored? seems tho there definitely is a "click" or is it just the hostess is occupy with her man now. it may be that simple and i am just thinking why???????

Anyone is free to start a "slumber party". I really don't see this clique that everyone keeps harping on. And before anyone says that's because I'm in it...I can't even remember the last time I was at one of those slumber parties. Really, I don't think there is a conspiracy to exclude you and you and you.

In my case I will skip the cilantro as it's on the top of the most despised herbs by me - I just can't stand it

Oh good. I thought I was the only one who hated cilantro. The worst thing that ever happened to me-- I was in Germany and at some kind fo salad bar and there was this thing.. I thought hmm.. flatleaf italian parsley maybe... and you know cilantro looks just like that stuff. So I got some (because I love parsley) and took a giant bite at the table. it was the nastiest thing in the world. Now I know better than to ever eat it. I also now know to not eat something before I smell if it's parsley or not. I wish they had had it labeled, it would have made a world of difference.

The worse part it's seems that it's like the "Herb of the Month" - everyone uses it... I had some Indian food yesterday and it was all over their curry - is that normal?

I think the cilantro thing is an actual genetic difference. I remember in middle school science class we all had to taste some chemical and half the people thought it tasted horrible, and to the other half it tasted like nothing at all. I love cilantro!

LOL - Then I am genetically impaired  - damn, I know I was "special" but I guess there is some hard evidence to prove it

i used to HATE cilantro too. now i like it, but definitely don't love large quantities piled in my food!

d, its likely jamal likes cilantro. its a very popular herb in morocco. but if i were you i would make it without it anyway!

You are right, Jen - I remember many instances of roadside kefta laced with cilantro but never in a huge quantities - I was actually pick it out of the food - oh well I cook without it...

Sorry for making this thread all about cilantro but I just couldn't help myself

Hahaha, well I don't know the technicalities behind it, but I've heard eating cilantro compared to eating tin foil or soap. Weird! And in Italy, they seem to hate it with a passion! In other words, yes, you're a genetic defect! :P

Oh no - you too Jess :crying::crying:

On a side note - I used to stay in a sidelines but as Jenn said, the more you post and participate in whatever is being discussed the more chances are for feeling less invisible... Just a thought...

We love you Jess, you know it. BTW - how is life back in NY? Is it getting better?

i know im not around much...i dont feel like i fit in because well im not in a visa process and my husband is a 'bad' boy. buttt i stuck around because i wanted to show support for the other ladies on here. i may not know what some of you are going thru but i know what sacrifices we have to make to pursue these relationships.

as far as being back in ny...if it werent for Daemian i would go totally nuts, i am really hating being back here. like i said if it werent for Daemian im not sure id ever feel the need to come back to the USA. i am trying to enjoy all my time with him and prepare for this little guy too....seems like the days are dragging. i just wish one day i wouldnt have to leave my heart or my soul in one place or another.

it's worthwhile to keep miss jackie aware of interviews, as she's the one who frequently schedules them.

Maaaaan it sucks to be back in cold gray dreary Idaho after fun sunny relaxing Mexico. I had the weirdest dream on the bus.

I dreamed that we lived in a world where we all lived in glass houses or apartments so everyone could see everything. While I was away someone broke into my glass apartment during the night and used my phone. I knew because I was checking my call history on this super high tech phone in my apartment that showed me a video screen of all the websites/phone sites this person visited and it all had to do with drugs. Then this little ugly old wiener dog came out from under my bed and did this most horrible body fluid mess ever. All this happened while some guys in the glass apartment building across from mine were looking down on my apartment from their third floor and laughing. They had this magnifying glass window so they could turn it and see closely in on ppl but at the same time ppl could see the guys really large and their reactions. They also hosted some sort of talk radio comedy show from this magnified balcony window. They were good humored guys but at the same time they liked to poke a ton of fun at me and watch me a lot.

Hey Sister Aymerlu!

Jess, I love you too and Im saying Hello!

Personally, I dont see a clique here. I see a unity that I never saw before,if the truth be known.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

If I ignore you I am sorry, I really never mean to do that to anyone. I know how that feels, and it does not feel good. Half the time I don't even know what I am even doing these days. Been so depressed, miss the hubby, stuck with the dog, and a daughter who thinks she knows it all, since she will gradate this May with her bachelors, you know it is much harder now, than when I was in school. KIDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS  To be honest I feel ignored sometimes too, but if you ever feel like that just pm me, I promise to always write back. You hang in there girl, hopefully one day we all will have a good laugh about the hard times.
