Don't feel bad Jeanne, I know how you feel. Not many here respond to my post either but there are more than enough people on here that truly care about ALL of us and truly care about our journey as well. You just have to be patient and open yourself up to them. I am sorry if I do not respond to you but I really do not say much anymore because I do not like to get caught up in the negative stuff that happens sometimes. Feel free to PM me! :D

Zayd is my oldest son's name. I love that name! It's easy to pronounce also. Not feminine in the least either. My Zayd is all boy. :luv:

Zayd is what his family suggested, I dont know how I feel about it...I have to see how it grows on me....Arabic boys names are soo hard, Ive been completely devastated over this...Maybe its the preggo hormones, i dont know, I spent a small fortune having things personalized with the name zane...but, im not gonna have my son go to jordan getting laughed at ya know? another big thing would be people calling sofyan Abu Zane, the family said it just wouldt be right...ahh like i said, ill figure something out...

Baby Malek is beautiful...hope your recovery is good from here on out...

Yes, I used the fresh cilantro. I omitted the orange blossom water as I didn't have any. And I do see the vermicelli nests at the Arab grocery all the time, I should have just sucked it up and drove the extra two miles! I beat myself up over the stupidest things though - it was still great.

In my case I will skip the cilantro as it's on the top of the most despised herbs by me - I just can't stand it - no offense to anyone as I know that lots of people enjoy it's strong aromatic flavoring but for me it's just too much - I will double the parsley and it should be good...I wonder how Jamal feels about cilantro...hmmmm - I guess I will have to ask

thanks for the tips Jenn!!!

Oh good. I thought I was the only one who hated cilantro. The worst thing that ever happened to me-- I was in Germany and at some kind fo salad bar and there was this thing.. I thought hmm.. flatleaf italian parsley maybe... and you know cilantro looks just like that stuff. So I got some (because I love parsley) and took a giant bite at the table. it was the nastiest thing in the world. Now I know better than to ever eat it. I also now know to not eat something before I smell if it's parsley or not. I wish they had had it labeled, it would have made a world of difference.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

d, its likely jamal likes cilantro. its a very popular herb in morocco. but if i were you i would make it without it anyway!

I think the cilantro thing is an actual genetic difference. I remember in middle school science class we all had to taste some chemical and half the people thought it tasted horrible, and to the other half it tasted like nothing at all. I love cilantro!

Sandy and Terrie, Thanks soooo much. We were given short notice without detail Sunday morning. My Fiance is hundreds of miles away from home working, so he had to drop everything on a whim and head home and gather evidence. I was finally able to make contact with a helpful person ( Chris )at DOS who confirmed the interview and gave us a time and what was to be brought to the interview.

I went to the Doctors today and I have to have another procedure next Thursday, my fourth in 2 months, and the stent is still in. Sheesh! But, Praise God, anyway!
