My Lady in Philippines was approved(I-129F), I need to send her proof of Income(Affidavit of Support) for her interview. Those on Social Security especially ex-pats, what documents did you use from SSI to present to your Sweetie? What forms if any do I need to fill out?? I-134? form I-864? thanks

You will need to fill out the I-134 form. I used the tax transcripts from the IRS for proof of income. If you did not file then send copies of your form SSA 1099.

Are you aware of the 125% of poverty level?

I called the National Customer Service Center today and was told to fill out the I-864 form. She said the I-134 affidavit of support form is for visiting Visa holder..and the I-864 form is for an Applicant for permanent residency(I-129f). I need more information, research on the 125% poverty level.

You were told wrong by the Customer Service Center. You will need the I-134 at the USEM for a K visa. The I-129f is not an application for permanent residency. The K visas are not immigrant visas, but are issued by the immigrant visa section at the consulate. I-864 is used only for immigrant visas.

If your only income is SSDI, you will need a joint sponsor. You need to reach above the 125% poverty level for your state.

:guides:

Thanks, I found a Sponsor. What steps must the Sponsor complete? Fill out I-134, copy of her income tax from last year?? Anything else I missed? Would it be helpful if both Sponsor and myself fill out separate I-134 forms for my fiancee? Or should Sponsor's document be enough? I don't want to take any chances of financee visa being delayed.

a copy of the W-2 of your co sponsor. I believe you and your co sponsor should each submit separate I-134's. someone correct me if I'm wrong. don't forget to have them notarized.

You and your sponsor will both need to fill out seperate I-134 forms with supporting evidence.

You can meet 125% of poverty level with equity (savings, IRAS, etc.) but it must be at least three times the 125% poverty level.
